A strange thing happened to me this morning.今天早上我碰到一件怪事。

I was crossing the street and was almost hit by a car.我在过大街时，差点被汽车撞着。

Fortunately, I jumped back in time to avoid being hit.
幸好，我往回跳得及时，才没有被撞着。

It was a terrible experience, and I won't forget it.这是一次可怕的经历，我永远也忘不了。

It was after dark when we got back, and we were all tired.

There's a possibility we'll go, but it all depends on the weather.
我们可能去，但这要看天气而定。

If I have time tomorrow, I think I'll get a haircut.
如果明天有时间，我想去理个发。

I hope I remember to ask the barber not to cut my hair too short.
但愿我能记着请理发员不要把我的头发剪得太短。
